SpaceX Lofts First Mission of 2021

Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL. – We Have Liftoff! On, January 7, 2021 at 9:15 PM EST, SpaceX successfully launched the Turksat 5A communications satellite for the nation of Turkey.
This satellite built by Turkish Aerospace Industries along with Airbus is a communications satellite for both civilian and military uses.
Shortly after launch, SpaceX made a successful landing of the previously flown first stage booster on its recovery vessel “Just Read the Instructions” This launch marks the first of 2021 for Florida’s Space Coast.
