CAPE CANAVERAL AIR FORCE STATION: After a 60-day drought of Space Coast launches, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched at 8:45 PM on Feburary 21, 2019 to deliver three payloads to space. The primary mission is a Nusantara Satu satellite for Indonesia. Also riding along were a small satellite for the USAF and a privately-developed lunar lander called Beresheet.

Firefly Aerospace Launches Partnership to Build & Launch Rockets on the Space Coast

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis visited the Space Coast today to announce an agreement with Firefly Aerospace. The company plans to build a 180,000 square foot manufacturing plant at Exploration Park. They plan on launching one of their Firefly rockets from an existing pad Launch Complex 20 North by the end of 2021 and will develop a horizontal integration facility and new launch stand at Launch Complex 20.
